The Institute for Brain and Intelligence (BrainTell) was created with a simple idea: it must focus on making serious, even modest, progresses on a carefully selected set of fundamental questions and critical enabling technologies related to brain and intelligence. Towards that goal, we use an approach that teams-up a cluster of complementary research labs to perform joint, focused, in-depth Big Science projects.
BrainTell currently focuses on several cutting-edge projects in the fields of brain science, human and artificial intelligence, brain computer interfaces, children cognitive development, and brain diseases. Novel technologies are being heavily developed. BrainTell is also the capstone organization of the SEU-ALLEN Joint Center, as well as a few other facilities of related technologies (e.g. Smart Imaging) and data production. BrainTell adopts an Open Science business model.
BrainTell is sponsored by the Southeast University, China. We plan to explain more of our work on an upcoming "Current Projects" page. Any interested people are welcome to contact us, - should mutual interest arises, we will be happy to host the research and execute the project at a meaningful speed.
